Welding Fume Extraction System

The MARWIS welding fume extractor is a specialized device designed to remove harmful gases and dust, including solid particles released during welding processes and the machining of metal, glass, and plastics. The extractor prevents hazardous gases and dust from entering the air, protecting workers from inhaling these pollutants. Regular use of the device reduces the risk of serious health problems associated with prolonged exposure to toxic substances. It effectively purifies the workplace from contaminants, which not only benefits health but also significantly improves comfort and welding efficiency.

Fume capture is carried out via an extraction arm equipped with a nozzle that directly captures the fumes generated during welding at the source. The device features a self-cleaning filter and has an extraction capacity of 1200 m³/h. The welding fume extractor consists of a suction pipe positioned near the emission source (e.g. welding machine, torch, or welding tool) and a fan that draws the pollutants through the filter and then discharges them outside.
